
Kapnick Insurance is excited to announce Angela Dean as the new president of employee benefits. Angela will step into the role following Steve Peck’s retirement in December 2022. After a six-month, nation-wide search, Kapnick confidently selected Angela for her extensive experience and leadership skills.
A LEADER WITH EXPERIENCE AND VISION
Angela began her career at Kapnick in 2003 as a sales producer. Over the years, she consistently demonstrated her expertise and dedication. In 2019, she became one of the original 10 partners when Kapnick expanded ownership to top-performing colleagues. Most recently, she excelled as Partner, Benefit Sales Leader, where she aligned her efforts with Kapnick’s culture and long-term goals.
“Angela is the best,” said Jim Kapnick, CEO. “She brings tremendous experience and a deep understanding of our culture. We’re thrilled about the fresh perspective she’ll bring to the leadership team.”
ENSURING A SMOOTH TRANSITION
Steve Peck, who has led the employee benefits division for 19 years, expressed his confidence in Angela’s leadership. “Angela has been here nearly as long as I have. We’re in great hands moving forward,” he said.
To ensure a seamless transition, Angela will work closely with Steve over the next six months. “Steve has been a great mentor for me over the past 30 years—20 of those at Kapnick,” Angela shared during the company-wide announcement. “I plan to stay close to him and learn as much as I can during this time. I have big shoes to fill, but I’m confident I can do it.”
