Like most website operators, Kapnick Insurance collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our Group’s visitors use our website. From time to time, Kapnick may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Kapnick also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Kapnick does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Kapnick’s websites choose to interact with Kapnick in ways that require Kapnick to gather personally-identifying information. Kapnick may display this information publicly or provide it to others. Kapnick does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
We may perform statistical analyses of user behavior. This allows us to measure consumer interest in the various areas of our Website for product development purposes. Any information we collect is used solely for internal purposes, to improve the content of the Website, to enhance users’ experiences when visiting our site, to customize the content and/or layout of our pages, and to provide the services required by an individual user. We expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
